Art in Lake Placid

I’m thrilled to announce that my artwork is currently on display at the Guy Brewster Hughes art gallery. It is located in the Lake Placid Public Library! Walking into this beautiful space, I felt an incredible sense of serenity in the cozy library with art and books all around. The library, with its historic charm and beautiful surroundings, offers the perfect setting for sharing my creative works.

Two of my works featured in the gallery include designs that are close to my heart:

1. “Yahweh: Hope is Here”: This piece is vibrant and colorful, conveying a sense of joy and encouragement. The word “Yahweh” is displayed prominently in an energetic style, paired with the phrase “Hope is Here.” It’s framed in wood, giving it a warm, earthy tone that complements the message of faith and hope.

2. “Do Not Be Overcome by Evil”: This second piece features the powerful verse from Romans 12:21, set against a minimalist line drawing of a woman’s face. I wanted to create something simple yet impactful, and the black frame adds a modern, sleek touch to the artwork. It serves as a reminder to stand firm in goodness, even when faced with adversity.

Each piece carries a message rooted in faith, hope, and resilience, which I hope resonates with those who view them. Any opportunity to share my work in a gallery is wonderful, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to showcase these designs.

If you’re in the Lake Placid area, I invite you to stop by the library and take a look at the exhibit. It’s a space filled with inspiration, not just for me but for every artist who gets to be a part of this gallery. Plus, the view outside the gallery window is a serene reminder of the beauty that surrounds us in the Adirondacks.

I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next, but for now, I’m savoring this moment and the joy that comes with sharing my work with my community.
