Book covers

As a passionate book lover, designing book covers is an incredibly exciting process for me. Each cover presents a unique opportunity to capture the essence of a story and convey it visually. I love immersing myself in the narrative, understanding its themes, and then translating that understanding into a compelling design. It's a way for me to combine my love for literature with my creative skills, making each project both a personal and professional joy.

The book cover design is for the second book in the series "The Chronicles of Narnia" called "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". The cover is a simple, yet eye-catching design with the title "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" written in a bold, white font on a black background. The main image on the cover is a close-up of the face of Aslan, the lion, with his right eye visible. This eye is rendered in a very striking way, making it appear as if it is looking directly at the reader. It is framed by fur that blends with the surrounding background, creating a sense of mystery and anticipation. The image is slightly blurred, which adds to the sense of mystery and adventure. The cover is simple, yet effective in conveying the themes of adventure, fantasy and magic.

The second book cover is for "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro features a striking and evocative design. At the center is a large red heart with visible cracks, symbolizing the themes of love, loss, and fragility that permeate the novel. The title and author's name are prominently displayed, ensuring they catch the reader's eye immediately. A poignant quote from the book is also included, adding depth and intrigue. The overall design is both simple and powerful, effectively capturing the emotional essence of the story.
